As part of my resolutions for 2021, I decided to write more and post the stuff. In regards to that I've debated quite a bit about doing writing prompts or not to get me back into writing. Especially with how weakly I currently feel connected to the source material for any fandom really. However, I think I've come up with a concept that should be low pressure enough to inspire without actually pressuring me too much.
Years ago I wrote little notes with verbs, nouns, phrases, song titles and fandoms down and I never actually got around to using them. I sorted through them, removed duplicates and fandoms and decided to use them for random prompts.
My goal is to write at least around 1000 words per story without giving myself a hard cut of as long as I get in the vicinity of it. One prompt per story and hopefully at least two stories a week. Stories may be connected in the form of a series, but should be separate enough not to count as chapters of one story. Any fandom, any pairing or no pairing, crossovers - anything goes.
Update: Since I want to be more connected to canon first, I postponed this for February so I have time to rewatch some shows.
